How To Lose Weight Without Exercise - Secrets Revealed!

Exercising is a very healthy activity that should be included in a person's regular routine. It only has all the good things to offer for anybody's physical wellness. But not every one enjoys doing it. Most people would like to stay away from it as much as they can due maybe to its strenuous nature. Some people who may have undergone surgery or are physically disabled couldn't exercise too. So, their problem now is how to lose weight without exercise.

It is still possible and best thing of all, it's do-able. Those who have managed to lose weight all have these in common - discipline, perseverance, and dedication. Here are 2 aspects of the secret on how to lose weight without exercise:

1. Calorie maintenance level

Calorie is the mount of energy the food will supply to the body when digested by the stomach. The energy from food that has not been used by the body become stored as fat in the fat tissues. Calorie maintenance level refers to the number of calories that the body needs to burn in order to perform all sorts of activities.

It isn't necessary to know the exact calorie maintenance level; an estimate will be just fine. But, if you insist on knowing the real score, there are calorie calculators available online that you can just Google. These calculators will need to get your weight and height in order to get the more accurate number.

To compute for an estimate use this basic formula: Your weight times 10 if a woman, times 12 if a man. So a 250-pound woman will have an approximately 2500-calorie maintenance level.

This is the amount of calorie you need for your body to normally function. So for those who want to know how to lose weight without exercise, these numbers are important.

2. Calorie deficit

Now that we know about calorie maintenance level, we could do something about it. Take note that 1 lb of food contains 3,500 calories. So in order for a person to lose 1 lb of his weight, he needs to not eat 3,500 calories total.

Exceed this much calories and you gain weight. A deficit from this constant therefore, will make you lose weight. When choosing to lower the calorie intake, make sure you don't do it drastically. Too much too soon is unhealthy and unsafe. This shouldn't even be considered. Extreme calorie deficit will slow down your metabolism, slowing down weight loss too, in the process.

So, distributing 3,500 in one week will give you 500 calories to subtract from diet each day. If this works well, you will have lost 1 lb by the end of the week.

The important thing here is the average weekly intake, so you can take off 400 calories today, maybe 500 tomorrow, 450 the next day. As long as you maintain 500 calories on the average weekly, you're on the right track.

Needless to say, these two aspects on how to lose weight without exercise would work but a lot of patience and determination is needed.
