Dr. Chervenak earned her B.A. summa cum laude at Boston University College of Engineering and her M.D. at Boston University School of Medicine, both in Boston, Mass. She is a diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine, American Board of Preventive Medicine with a specialty in Occupational Medicine and a former diplomat of the American Board of Emergency Medicine. Before joining Summit Medical Group, Dr. Chervenak was Regional Medical Director for Alcatel-Lucent USA in Murray Hill, N.J. She was previously Regional Medical Director for Lucent Technologies, Inc, of North America, and Location Medical Director for AT&T Bell Laboratories, also in Murray Hill.

Dr. Chervenak has extensive experience leading corporate health care systems in comprehensive medical services such as wellness, urgent care, primary care, occupational health, and health and safety programs and has special interests in preventive care and developing physician-patient partnerships.
