Nuclear Medicine at Summit Medical Group Earns ACR Re-Accreditation

Berkeley Heights (Vocus) February 2, 2010 -- Summit Medical Group’s Nuclear Medicine Service received approval for re-accreditation by the American College of Radiology (ACR) for the period of January 2010 through January 2013. Accreditation by the ACR is awarded to those institutions that show quality care and patient safety in nuclear imaging. The ACR, founded in 1923, is a professional medical organization composed of diagnostic radiologists, radiation oncologists, interventional radiologists, nuclear medicine physicians, and medical physicists.
