Locate a Juvederm Provider Near You Through American Health and Beauty
(PRWeb) January 8, 2007 -- Select aesthetic physicians around the country are currently participating in a pre-market study on Allergan's new Anti-Wrinkle filler, Juvederm, which is becoming widely available this month, January 2007. American Health and Beauty is a national online magazine devoted to providing information and resources about aesthetic and cosmetic procedures including Juvederm, Artefill, Thermage, Fraxel, Threadlift and Rhytec Portrait.
Dermatologists and plastic surgeons who participated in the Juvederm trial study are have been testing this brand new product that promises to smooth wrinkles and last longer than similar products. Juvederm, an injectable gel, is a new anti-aging treatment that promises to give you fuller lips and smoother skin. Juvederm is already FDA approved and will be comparable in price to Restylane, which is several hundred dollars per syringe.
Early feedback on Juvederm suggests that this new hyaluronic acid dermal filler is easier to use than other hyaluronic acid fillers and may last longer than competing products like Restylane because Juvederm has a higher concentration of hylauronic acid, a substance which occurs naturally in the body and does not require skin testing.
To participate in the trial study, patients must have previously been treated with Juvederm's chief competitor, Restylane, which has been sold in the United States since 2004. Participants are asked to return to the doctor's office at three, six and nine months to evaluate results.
American Health and Beauty's doctor locator resource currently represents Juvederm providers in over 25 cities nationwide. To locate a Juvederm provider in the trial, or to locate a physician who will be offering Juvederm in January, visit American Health and Beauty.
